Mary-Anne (mis)quoted me as writing :
>Tons of heat but tons of flavor too.
Mary-Anne, I welcome learning about your experiences of real Indian
cooking but do me a favour (not a favor) please? Don't try and
correct my spelling. In the UK we spell it "flavour" as I wrote in my
original message.
I'm more than happy to spell chilli as chile for the sake of clarity
on this list but that's where I draw the line ;-)
And to Tom about Bolognese sauce : yes, you're right, I was being
lazy. They don't have Madras curries in Madras either. Come to think
of it we don't have Creme Anglaise in England. Well, we do in French
restaurants I suppose, but mostly we call it custard. Do they have French
letters in France I wonder?
cheers (with knuckles dragging)
