I can also recommend the Lil' Chief smoker. Although the number of peppers is somewhat limited by the small size of the smoker, I find I can do a batch in only a few hours then finish them in the dehydrator and get another batch started in the smoker. I read that too much smoke makes them bitter; they recommend using only two batches of wood chips (it looks more like sawdust; came with the smoker) per smoking so that's what I do.
