> Just a thought ... > Why are there so many "off topic" discussions here? > It's for PEPPERS, not what to do with spices, coffee grinding, bug infused > ice cream, bird jerky, locating car parts on Australia, mixing capsicum with > paint, eating cabbage (and the list goes on). I've been hanging out in this group for a long time and one of it's charms is that it does go off topic occasionally. I'm really hoping that I can convince a Chile hybridizer to name one "Knuckle Dragger". I'll bet I could sell a lot of seeds to this bunch <G>. About once a year some self-appointed cop comes along and tries to make the rest of us conform to his/her vision of how things should work. He/she usually goes away after a fairly short period of time. There are a few newbies who do tend to re-send someone else's long post with a Me Too! to the entire list, but they usually stop after being told that they're not following proper netiquette. The listowner (Mike Bowers) has done a great job of keeping things more or less on track and my vote is for keeping things just the way they are.
