Until about 6 months ago I was a member of chile-heads. Then, for a variety of reasons, mostly related to vanishing email, I got off. Now, at long last, I've come home. I've been eating chile all of my life. I used to like tabasco sauce on my toast while I was in college and couldn't get real chile. Today, I put powdered red chile in my jams. I threw out my paprika years ago in favor of powdered extra-hot red chile. The Hot Stuff show in Albuquerque will be a chance to meet some of you others. Elsa Altshool efalt@zianet.com
