I have two oriental (I'm not sure what type. I got the seeds from some dried chilis I purchased from an oriental food store.) and one Barker long green chili plants which I have been growing for three years now. Over the winter I bring them indoors, then put them on my porch about April 1(I'm in southern New Mexico). They seem to really soak up the hot New Mexico sun and get hotter each year. The oriental chilis turn red when ripe and really turn out a lot of fruit. They are about 1-11/2 inches long and pointed on the end. They are the ones you usually find dried and cooked in chinese or Thai food. Can anyone tell me what they are?
