I have "shored up" some of my leggyer (is that a word?) seedlings by planting them deep. As deep as the seed leaves, or where the seed leaves were if they have fallen off, with no problems. On another note: Thanks for the suggestions about cats-in-the-garden. I won't have a problem much longer since I will be planting this weekend, and she doesn't use the garden as a bathroom once the plants are in. Seems to prefer her business in the open, not amongst the bushes. Must be an 18 year old feline exhibitionist. Scott...KCK
