Thanks for the reminder Cameron, the knuckle dragging brigade have forgotten all net etiquette they ever had and the competition among them to fill the list with MIME, HTML and superfluous quoted text is heating up. For the benefit of those interested in writing good posts to the list. Please just follow these simple rules. 1) Don't quote any portion of a message you are replying to that has no relevance to the reply. 2) Do not tack on the original message at the end of your post. If you are tacking it on at the end it has no relevance. Cut it completely and just retain the subject line. 3) Do not include ANY coded document ever for any reason. 4) Use only plain text, US ASCII and make sure that MIME and HTML are turned off. 5) If you are using a Microsoft product and have not turned MIME and HTML off then see 4) Select send tools or options and turn them off. 6) Keep signatures short and don't include ascii art. 7) Check your posts by down loading a copy of the daily digest available via anonymous FTP from ftp.globalgarden.com, in pub/chile-heads/digest/vNN.nMMM (where "NN" is the volume number, and "MMM"is the issue number) or http://neptune.netimages.com/~chile/ and select archive. Cheers Peter -- Peter Moss After one hundred and fifty years and many thousands of firearms control laws to reduce crime the list of successes should be long and illustrious. Where is the list?
