Try the New Mexican Connection.  I have ordered Chipotle and New Mexico
Red Chiles from them in the past...quality is excellent and price is
good too. They can be located at:

Most of their site is still under construction, but you can order a
catalog, call them, or email them.

Not sure about difference in taste between the colors...when they are
smoked, the smokey taste predominates to me anyway.
