Snip- PS. Has anybody else suffered from choking fumes given off when stir frying chile's? I've dumped the firehouse on a couple of occasions doing this. My crew was giving me grief about not ever cooking for them (there'd been an article in the local paper calling me a firehouse chef- HAH!). I put up with it about as long as possible & then decided to show them why I didn't think it would be a good idea to cook for them in the tiny, cracker-box firehouse we were in. Did my special- mac & cheese & smoked sausage (some chef, huh?) The smoked sausages were stir fried in habs. It wasn't long before they were dying (I knew to wear my respirator). I'm not asked to cook anymore..... -Jim C MWPH
