Greetings :) While peeking at my plants this morning, I noticed that *finally* the red savinas are starting to flower. I've read on the list several postings about pinching back the first blossoms on the habs (and others?) to get more of a harvest, but how long does it usually take for the plant to flower again? I am planning on overwintering them, but this is my first attempt at growing and I'd really like to get at least a few pepper before dragging them into their winter quarters. Just how long does the heat hold out here in Missouri? (St Louis area) Back home in Massachusetts, the gardens will be wrapping up production within a few more weeks (40ish degree overnights already!) thanx for any advice! Valerie ps: any word of a MidWest Chilehead gathering? I'd love an excuse to cook up a big batch of Pasta from Hell!!! -- THERE'S TOO MUCH BLOOD IN MY CAFFINE SYSTEM!!
