Your welcome Luke. A question. I've pounded many things to dust in a molcajete. Dried chiles of all sorts, spices etc. But never dried limes. Isn't this a bit difficult? I mean, I've left limes sit, unused, neglected until they became dark brown rocks, and if I had had an inclination to use these things, a sledge hammer would have come in handy. Are the ones you speak of crunchy? I have this picture in my mind of someone attempting to grind up golf balls. I do know of an incident where someone in an inebriated condition attempted to mash up a small rubber ball in the molcajete, thinking it was a cherry tomato. No, really. It wasn't me. Honest. But that's another story, and I digress in many splendorous ways. Not to mention being off topic. Ta!
