Just now talked (12:30pm, Sept. 28th) to Mary Garcia at GNS Spices
and cut our order off at 28 10-lb. boxes.

She requests that you DO NOT publish her phone number(s).<<<<

She is going to fax me a release which says "I will not use the seeds
for growing."

They license "many growers" but only for growing red savinas
"for use in that licensed grower's PRODUCTS."

I just called Mary Garcia at 4:08 pm Sept. 27th.
They have 80 acres of red savinas.
At 18 inch spacing in rows 3 feet apart,
that's 774,400 plants
yielding 1 to 3 lb. each
or about $1.5 to $4.5 million gross.
Since our 280 lb. is only
about 1/3000th to 1/9000th of their savina business,
so we're very minor customers.

Mary will accept only a SINGLE
money order or cashier's check to GNS Spices
FOR THE FULL AMOUNT
so I can give it to Driscoll when I pickup in Oxnard.

621.6/~18 = ~36 gallons
36 gallons at $1.50/gallon (or less) = $54
$54.00/280# = $0.20/# extra
So pepper should be Garcia's $2/# + $0.25/# = $2.25/lb
