Here in Canada, a cubanelle is a light green -- like a granny smith apple -- pepper that is narrow and about 3 - 4 inches long. Not usually a hot pepper, they do have a nice flavour and go well in a fried pepper and potato dish that I make failry often at this time of year. Hope that this was helpful! TTFN and Ciao!
