Same for me, 
The skin of some bells, paprika and peppers are not easy to digest and gives
me a terrible heartburn, even when cooked but than not always
I must say that if I roast them black under the grill take off the skin it
gives them even a better and smoother taste, but have to use a few more for
the same heat.
