I recently was giving a big bag of chiles such as habs and serranos from the supermarket for all about 40 cents. However it seems I now have too much of a good (or hot :) thing, as now the habs seem to be going off...that is turning black especially around the stalk end. That brings me to a question...is it ok to freeze habs, or does doing as such do no good to them at all, so it may actually better to let just some spoil, than losing them all to whatever harm after freezing?
