Not quite.  I use a corn grinder, that I got from Johnny's Seeds a couple
years ago. Works great, and by adjusting the grinding plates you can get
anything from caribe type bits to fine powder, and it will grind soft
(anchos, for example) and hard (thin skinned) dried peppers equally well.
Haven't tried it on corn yet.
