From: "Mike Benson" <mbens@execpc.com> My chile pepper seedlings are suffering from an infestation of aphids. I've been trying to kill them with pyrethrins (sp?), but it's very difficult to spay the underside of leaves... It would be nice if I could just dip the seedling in some sort of safe pesticide while I transplant. ========================================================== Mike, You can do just that, but don't transplant for a few days (let the leaves dry and the soap do its work). Mix up a batch of insecticidal soap ("Safer" is one brand) then take each plant hold the soil in the pot with fingers around the stem. Next dunk the seedlings (upside down) wetting all the leaves and stem.
