Willows have some remarkable properties like being the source for aspirin, but I haven't heard about them being used as a plant growth regulator. I'm doing some research on cytokinins to try to increase proliferations in daylilies. One of the websites had some information on rooting compounds. I'll see if I can find anything for you. To keep this chile related, one of the products I'm looking at will supposedly double the pepper production per plant, but unless the temperatures are correct, will just get you smaller peppers. I don't know what the temps are, but the manufacturer is sending me info.
