[CH] hot festivals

Hi all.  I am new to the list, and only in the last year or so have I come
to realize that I was a Chile-head (when I was sipping medium-to-hot sauces
from the bottle) and then finding all you guys on-line was great!  But now
that I know that there is a great big community out there of people like me
(at least regarding spice) I want to experience some get togethers.  Does
anyone know how I would go about finding hotlucks or fiery festivals in
up-state New York (or even northern Pennsylvania)?  I tried searching
everywhere I could think of, and lists are either non-existent or a few
years old.  Thanks.

P.S.  my Cayenne seedlings are coming up nicely.  I'll be putting them in
the ground this Sunday and I can't wait.  I haven't grown Cayennes before.
Last year I did habs, japs, and Hungarian wax peppers, all of which made
some excellent sauces, but I don't think I'll be having any need for hab
sauces for awhile ... they were a bit much!
