That resembles a plant I had for about three years - I bought it marked as "orchid" pepper. I've heard one other name for it, but now I forget. The ones I had were hardly hot at all, thick-fleshed, and with a rich red pepper flavor. Cut on the diagonal, they made a neat salad ingredient, sort of crazy-wavy kind of pepper strips.
