G'day Troopers, OK, now I am really stumped. I have seen my Chile as representatives of several different species now and I am soooo confused. If only there was some flowers still present on the plant, but here in Melbourne, Oz, I am all out of luck. Just to rehash the picture of one of my pods is located http://web.one.net.au/~zymurgian/chile/chile.jpg . One site reckons it is a version of frutescens in a pictures from Texas A&M, but also in the main "name" database it is referred to as "bi-bell" (baccatum) , then further on as discussed earlier as "bishop's crown with species notation. http://easyweb.easynet.co.uk/~gcaselton/chile/variety.html Does anyone really know what this type of chile is. One point though, when cut there is no real fruity smell like you would get from chinense varieties usually, so it might in fact rule that one out. Anyone anyone..... As always, thanks. Mark E. in Oz
