<< Coyote Howlin' for Habanaro >> I am just down the road from you in Alamo and I have the same experience that the chiles I grow are hotter than those at the market, BUT the ones I buy at the Farmer's Market--Mexican growers are HOTTER still. This year I am growing Indian PC-1, Serranos, Devil's Tongue, Thai Dragon (many),Henkle Katz, Cayenne, De Arbol, Carribean Habanaro, Chile Rello, Thai Hots, Vietnamese Hots, Burmese, Jalapenos, Ancho, Mulatto Isleno, Spanish Spice, Gypsy, Habanaros, Red Savinnas, Black Ancho Mulatto, Rocoto Red, Aji Limo, Sirichi, Tree Habanaro, Peru Yellow, and Chocolate-red-yellow-Purple bells. I really hate green ones, but the colors look pretty in stir fries. Some of these are recovering from over wintering in pots in an unheated greenhouse and some are new. My cayennes are loaded with fruit already and a few others have some fruit and lotsa blossoms. Come on heat! Mary-Anne
