Good Evening. Don't you love the name of this pepper? Yes, yes. I went back to that grocery store today and got some more or them, a pound in fact. They had a newer selection from last week. Where they are getting them from, I haven't asked them yet. However, this is a "Mexican-oriented" market in Pittsburg, Texas. (They even play Mexican muzak.) At any rate, I got some really green ones, some green-turning-to-yellow ones, some yellow ones, some golden ones, and some golden-turning-to-brown ones. I assume that the brownish tinge is the prelude to the final change to a red color. I would love to find some red ones, as I like the flavor change in all peppers when they convert to the red stage. So, I'll do a little survey of taste and heat and get back to you in a few days with the results of my "research".
