Anyone on the list who would care to show up is invited to a picnic
which my sister and I are tossing in Springfield. It's basically a
gathering of folks from the FIDO-net Cooking Echoes - most of whom enjoy
hot and spicy foods.

Sis and I will provide venison, rabbit and squirrel, plates, etc. And
some adult beverages (which are supposed to be taboo at this public
park) and soda. Plenty grills around the shelter and electricity is
wired into the shelter. Propane stoves will be furnished (up to two
<GGG> ).

No need to announce yourself until you show up. Douglas Park Shelter #1
at MacArthur Boulevard and Madison Streets in Springfield, IL. Things
will get rolling pretty good about noon or one o'clock. Some of us will
be on site from 10 A.M. or so setting up. Look for a white flag saying
"Multifeedia" with a picture of a bread-basket. Then look for a gray
bearded extra-large guy in a straw planter's hat - that'll be me.

And be ready to be hugged. We hug a lot in this group. None of us ever
met a stranger.  <GGG>
