Well, it is the all star break and time to check the progress of my plants. The Tabasco from a friend is doing well along with the "super chile"(both have fruit). The Caribbean reds have flowers and fruits and the orange habs have flowers. The plants from that strange pod that Calvin sent me have finally taken off and my wife noticed a flower on one today. My Petines (Pequins) just didn't amke it but no problem. I have had serious problems with my serranos. First something ate them, then the second planting just hasn't grown much. here's hoping I still get some. I also planted several tomato plants from an heirloom plum variety called "Paulina" My wife's guitar teacher gave us seeds that are from the seeds his mother brought from eastern Europe. They are a plum tomatoe and should be good. I am hoping for seeds to exchange this fall. I assume he wouldn't steer us wrong as this is the person who wrote the song "Hot Pepper Jelly", which is one of my favorites. His site is at:http://www.rogerlatzgo.com/ Maybe you can get his sample tape with the "Hot Pepper Jelly" song on it (along with the "Mushroom Song" and "A Tomatoe Called Paulina". You can even tell him that I sent you. Dave
