Risa, Risa....you are such a good cook, if you want hot chili with beans, make some to your specs, freeze it in small amounts, and thaw and heat and there you is!! Much better than the stuff that gets served in cans at your local S M ( is that really sado masochistic?) YEP! Anyway, I have had the same experience wih our stuff up here....unless I "doctor" a can of whatever, it is not what we want to have for lunch. Even these so called hot enchiladas which are frozen and available in the freezer section, are useless unless Calvin's or Jim's is added when served. You are aware of what the problem is, I am sure...these mfgrs are catering to the 99% of the population, to whom HOT, means, IOurO means warm! Slightly warm, at that!! Oh well, it is better now than it was even five years ago, and hopefully, it will improve even more! Cheers Doug in BC
