I can't remember which brands were recently discussed here, hopefully I'm not repeating someone, but I just tried some potato chips that I hadn't seen before. Michael Season's Kettle cooked Cheese Jalapeno potato chips. Pretty good, I would buy again. First bite was good but not overly impressive I think because of the cheese, but as we ate them they got better and better and better (I think that may have been largely because of the building of the heat). The ground jalapenos listed in the ingredients actually have some heat to them (at least in this first bag). Might check 'em out if you get the chance. I found them at our local Kroger... where, btw, I also got a big bag of Scotch Bonnets for a quarter!! Y'all may remember they're my favs! I just asked if they might have more in back, maybe some yellow or red ones since the ones I saw out in front were all green (I was really thinking more of the visuals than anything else). Well that made the guy say, "No, but I can mark these down for you." I said, "Coolness, that way I'll get more of them, how much can you mark them down?" He said, "Oh, you can have them all for 25 cents, okay?" (originally marked $3.99/lb) I said, containing my glee, "Oh, okay." So many Scotch bonnets and so little time... <biggest of grins> Send me your favorite ideas for using them! Deb in Houston
