Thanks for the input. The recipe we used calls for a large can of crushed tomatoes, and two regular sized cans of diced tomatoes. This did give the salsa a good consistancy, but it said to put the tomatoes in juice and all, which did make it a bit watery. Next time, I'll try draining them, and putting in some cayenne powder. Also, would it help to put in a half cup or so of olve oil, and/or a couple of tablespoons of tomato paste? or would this alter the taste too much?
