[CH] Earth Boxes

Happy New Year to all,

Hubby and I are checking out earth boxes for planting ornamental chile 
peppers (Thai Dragons, Serranos, Jamaicans, Super Chiles) this coming growing 
season.  We noticed in the Earth Box information that 8 plants can be planted 
per box (the boxes are 30 inches long).  I thought pepper plants needed at 
least 12 inches of room.  For those of you who have tried the earth box, how 
many plants do you recommend we plant per box?
