G'day All, Now yesterday I was indulged in a magnificent treat. I went in to a Indian Grocery Store......Dang...... Now I have to say to you all, do not casually look for these places..hunt them down. Man alive, what a treasure trove. I though Asian grocers where the bee knees but Indian grocers are the best for spices and assorted culinary paraphernalia. Plus if you are not that into cooking, you can buy all manner of prepared and canned curries. And the prices for spices will make you sick. Never again will I by spices from my local supermarket. Which brings me to my query. I bought 100grams of medium crushed dark (not black) mustard seed, and I though it may be very handy to fill a couple of small jars with something along the condiments line, so I am seeking ideas and recipes along the same vein for mustard and mustard/chile concoctions.
