Hey Datil Derek (and folks), Congratulations on your wife's choice of Tabasco! Time to move non-CH wife up to harder stuff. If she likes the pickly taste of Tabasco, you might suggest Encoma Scotch Bonnet sauce (the "original" one with just scotch bonnets). Goes with black beans and rice (add fried plantains to that!) like malt vinegar goes with fish and chips. There has been some disparagement of this sauce on this list in the past but the fruity taste of the chiles are as bold as the heat and the pickle. Tell her to put in just a drop or two and mix it in well at first - also tell her that this was suggested by a CH of the Sandy-like "moderate persuasion," not a macho hab-muncher. There's a chance she'll get through bottles of the stuff in no time and then you'll be a CH couple.
