Folks I found the following posted on another board. I thought it was against Fed. Law to spread diseases. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have some peppers that were given to me that have curled leaves. The nursery attendant said they are diseased becasue they were handled in their seedling state during transplanting by someone who smoked. Is there a reaction with the plants and tobacco? I think she called the disease "mosaic" and that it spreads to all the pepper plants in the nursery. I want to know if this will effect the growing process or the amount of production of the plants. Is it worth it to plant them? Thanks!
