[CH] germinating

Several times I have tossed the remains of peppers, seeds and veins, stems,
etc., into the worm compost bins and had what seemed like very seed germinate
with no special care.  I find them when I pull the lid off.  A few times I have
lifted a specimen out and potted it up and had a very nice plant.
It must be the even temperature and moisture or even the dark.
I have an extensive herb garden and some herbs do not germinate unless they are
completely away from the light.   It may be that some peppers are the same.
