Hi Dewi, I had the same with some of the plants I placed outside before may, from the weather forecast I noticed that they had given a few day's with extreme UV intensity end of April. The rest of the plants who went outside mid may and had even more direct sun had no problems. So I guess it is the UV concentration in the sun which kill's the plants not the light... But my 'burned' plants are not dead but has got quit a lot of damage and also they grow is been effected by this as they can't do the photo job any more. What I'll do I remove the burned leaves (with care) leaving only the top leaves leave it for a day, than give extreme water place three to four short bamboo sticks in the pot and cover with a clear plastic back over the whole plant and put it in a warm place for a few day's. At some of the places where I removed the leaves new ones popped up now. Might be to late for now but you never know. No, just the leaves turned white. > Any chance you gave then a high P rated fertilizer? No fertilizer yet > Sunscald normaly only affects a few leaves. It did but while they shrivveled up the rest died too. > High Phosphours might burn the plants. Could that be in the potting soil I'm using? Other plants from the same batch don't seem to be affected by it. Miss Dewi
