Hi everyone, Yesterday (Sunday) I went to a swapmart. The night before I made about 4 litres of the chilli salsa/sauce that I emailed to the list about a week ago. It filled 13 jars and I sold all of them. I made about $40 plus other things that I sold. While I was there I was surprised to see so many chilli plants for sale. I couldn't resist them and I bought 6 new plants. None of them had any labels and I don't know what the types are, but they're all very healthy. I identify them by simply using numbers cut onto circles of cardboard then stuck into the ground in front of the plants. I also got a beaut bargain with plastic trays and pots. 25 pots and 40 plastic trays only cost me $2 aus. I have heaps better news for me though, About 20 of my chilli seeds have germinated. The seeds have been lying in a cardboard box about 1cm deep. Its been covered with a blanket and watered often. The seeds were soaked for an hour before hand in a mixture of 50% water and %50 vinegar. The seeds that have come up are from a chilli bought from the shops, I don't know the type, but it was yellow. I'm not really sure what I should do with them now. (leave them as they are until they get bigger or plant them, I don't know???) Well I hope everyone's plants are doing great. Cheers, Beau. PS, if anyone wants the recipe again, email me please.
