Like most of the pepper pickin' people, I was tasting whilst picking. When I nibbled cautiously on the yellow scotch bonnet, I got little heat. I proceeded to eat the whole thing like an apple and got really nice flavor but very little heat, certainly not what I expected. While talking with Jim about it later he said that was normal. I still have some frozen which I am going to make into a sauce that should be tolerable to even those of the moderate persuasion. Scott... they are beautiful, if not hot... KCK
