I haven't posted anything here before but someone asked for a Chile Powder recipe and I happen to have one that I think is excellent.  I wanted to make Green Chili but could not find a recipe for the Chile Powder.  After much research, I found a recipe for Red Chile Powder and adapted it with great results.  Of course you can reverse engineer it for a red Chile Powder with you own chilis but I use the same Chile Powder in Red Chili with excellent results.


Green Chile Powder Mix

5 Tbs  Ground Green Chilies
1 Tbs  Ground Hot Chilies
2 Tbs  Ground Cumin
2 Tbs  Ground Oregano
2 Tbs  Garlic powder
1 Tsp  Salt
2 Tbs  Onion Powder
2 Tbs  Masa Flour
