There is a dish that we call monte (the "e" is emphasized). It is a soup
like dish composed of lots of tiny hand made stuffed raviolis in a
tomatoey liquid spiced with mint, among other things. Extremely tasty. I
don't know how to make it but my mom makes it for us a couple times a
year, often around the holidays. My kids love it too. Does that sound
like the dish you are referring to?
