I don't have one either, but today I am going to Home Depot and buy one.
I am going to buy one of those round barrel type and use charcoal and a 
mixture of
hardwoods. I do have a good supply of applewood. They are from $29.95 up at 
HD. They had 3 different
models last time I was there, including an electric one.
