>From: "wildpepper.com" <jim@wildpepper.com> >There is a bit of road noise from the highway nearby Actually, there is a lot of road noise, as a 4-lane highway passes right by one corner of the orchard. It's 37, the main drag between Indy and Bloomington. Your dreams may be filled with roaring 18-wheel rigs, groaning under the loads of peppers... The nearest decent grocery I know of is in Martinsville, to the south. You should stock up on supplies while you're still in a larger town, on your way in. If you just gotta have a morning restaurant breakfast-and-constitutional, there is the Indy outerbelt and various truck stop-type places about 15 minutes to the north (passing that produce stand on the way - Jim, can you provide a name or landmark for that?) Another way to know you're close to the fields: watch for an earth-moving equipment dealer by the side of the road. Expect to clean your hands frequently! Even so, expect Hunan Forehead if you simply wipe your brow. You'll probably be walking on smashed peppers, so don't wear your best shoes. You may want a doormat for your tent. If you go barefoot, expect Hunan Heel. And of course, obey Indiana law: http://www.dumblaws.com/states/indiana.html - A _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
