I've lived in Bloomington, on and off for about 12 years since 1978. My recommendations are as follows: Mustards ("gourmet" do-it-yourself hamburgers at a reasonable price) Snow Lion ("Tibet" restaurant....not sure how authentic, but my wife and I eat there almost every time we go back to B'ton) Trojan Horse (Great Greek restaurant....was my favorite in 1981, and is still my favorite) Mother Bears (if you like Pizza, beer, pizza, beer...ahem, this is a great place if you don't mind the college flare...great food) B'ton has TONS of places to eat. 99% of them are good.
