Paul and all, I opened my bottle of Homemade Tabasco Sauce last week. I made it with Ring of Fire cayenne peppers and woooooow. It was much hotter than actual Tabasco Sauce. Much. I was quite surprised. So depending on what kind of chiles you use, it could be just as hot or HOTTER. My DH won't try it even though I made it. Try the recipe. It is good. I waited about a month to open the bottle. I could've let it sit awhile longer but I was impatient. Good sauce.
