Hi JohnT. I'm the Spam jerky guy. I have posted the recipe
to the list before but will send it to you off list. The rest of the
list probably has it memorized anyway <g>. Yes, it is laced
with heat and most people who have tried it have had a certain,
appreciation let's say, for it. The toughest part was getting the
sweet/salt balance right. At the 4th Almost Annual hotluck it
was too sweet, more like teryaki. At last years Open Fields it
was too salty. This years 5th Almost Annual hotluck I think I
got it right. The heat can be set to whatever you prefer. Enjoy!
