>From: "Sandy Olson" <sandyo@willowtree.com> >What's the answer... I don't know if this trick would work for this purpose, but when I'm going to work on my car and I know my hands will get heavily greasy, I coat them first with a layer of hand cleaner gel, rubbing it in like a hand lotion. When the dirt/grease gets in my skin, the cleaner is already under it. As a result, the skin cleans much more quickly and easily. Maybe it would work with the oils in pepper juice, too. I never wear gloves. Often I just live with the hunan hand. I've learned, though, that the way I handle the peppers can make a very big difference in how much heat gets into my skin. If I am careful to avoid touching cut, juicy areas, and hold the peppers by their skins, I can greatly reduce the exposure. It depends on what the task is, though; sometimes the exposure can't be avoided. In those cases, I at least try to wash my hands frequently during the process, instead of letting the juice soak in until the task is finished. And of course, as we all know, as soon as your hand is contaminated, your body will itch somewhere. - A _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
