Hi Gary, ## Some moments are made for Scotch, others for a good IPA or Porter. >>> I couldn't agree with you more. I don't think that a barbeque would be a barbeque without a good beer be it a rich stout, a tastey pale ale, or cool crisp lager. The most popular local beers in South Africa are lagers, and generally the pale ales are either imported (VERY expensive) or else homebrewed. ## Guinness, now there is a fine liquid which should have a place in cooking! >>> In fact, when I throw together a stew, I like to replace the water in the recipe with a can of Guinness. If you haven't already tried it, I recommend it. Really tastey, full bodied flavour. I also use it in place of water when making the fillings for meaty steak pies. Regards, Wolf. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Everything you'll ever need on one web page from News and Sport to Email and Music Charts http://uk.my.yahoo.com
