Yep, Marker's Mark is great. I also like Basil Hayden,
Baker's 107, Knob Creek, and Bulliet...
Mead is fun to brew, especially since I have a friend who
keeps bees, so I can get fresh-out-of-the hive honey simply
for going with him and helping harvest it out of the hives...
He is also a former New Mexican, so we also enjoy El Grande
together...

Say John,
You got my attention with "small-batch bourbon", have you tried
"Maker's Mark"? -- I like it neat in a small snifter.
You make Mead? I made "small, white mead" some years ago
for New Year's Eve. It was very popular by a few, and it
was only two weeks old and still bubbly and fermenting!
