Cold sores/fever blisters/herpes:

This is a virus that runs in my family vertically and horizontially. 
Stress most often triggers an outbreak.  I've heard that the herpes
virus is in the chicken pox family (don't quote me on this).

My sister and I break out in fever blisters all over our face when we
are over exposed to the sun and STRESS.

We have a prescription for Zovirax 5% ointment that we use at the
slightest feeling/twinge of a breakout on our face.  It helps but does
not prevent.
