Sambal, also known as sambal bajak (or badjak), is simply a paste of hot chile pepers, various spices and lime juice. Other ingredients also can be added.Sambals are usually served as an accompaniment to rice (delicioso) and curried dishes, either as a condiment or as a side dish. It can be found in Indonesian and Chinese markets and probably on the Internet!
