One time in Florida I tried some shark meat, just out of curiosity; and it was prepared very well. But I didn't particularly like it and have never had any desire to eat it again. Years ago when that was supposedly done shark was really cheap. Now that shark is becoming a little scarce and much more popular the price has gone way up. It wouldn't be nearly as cost effective now. That and I think more people are aware of what good seafood is supposed to taste like because of jet deliveries of fresh, (or more fresh than before) seafood to the land locked states.
