<... oozing up from lurkerdom...> Hey Chile Pods! Did anyone catch the "Follow that Food" episode last night on FoodTV? Gordon Idiot, oops, Gordon Elliot(?) followed chiles from source to the table. Some pretty nice recipes, particularly the one from the Bahamas with habs. My favorite part, though, came at the beginning when an interviewee explained that chiles are not just about hot/spicy, but rather they had a wide range of flavors to use to enhance other foods, i.e..- smokey, earthy, etc. Nice of them to mention what we have known all along. Pretty cool episode I thought. BTW, I could use all y'all's prayers to El Grande about now. My wife just had two spinal discs fused and a lot of hardware installed, then she got a kidney infection (bad s**t) and also a bad inner ear infection. She has been in a bad way for awhile, so I could use some help. Thanks in advance guys. C ya... <...slurping back into lurkerdom...> George J.
